Early Intervention Program
​
✓ Early Intervention caters preschool-age (4-6 years old) kids with special needs.
✓ Early Intervention program focuses on helping students learn basic concepts and developing skills such as Social skills and Physical (Gross and Fine Motor Skills).
​
PLAY SCHOOL
This program caters 4 year old students. It is a child-centered approach which means children take command of their own learning through play.
GOAL:
To provide opportunities for children to build, learn and understand concepts, emotions and skills through play.
​
Play school is divided into sections:

Language and Communication Area

Math and Fine Motor Area

Dramatic Play Area

Gross Motor Area
-
Work Area
-
Music and Movement Area
Much of the class time is made up of free-choice centers, where children go to one of these areas in the classroom and “play”.

Students’ progress is monitored by their participation in hands on activities and observational assessments, not just by worksheets and drills.
KINDER SCHOOL
This program is intended for 5-6 years old children with special educational needs.
Basic academic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics are being taught through the use of modified DEPED Kindergarten Curriculum.
Modifications are done to address the individual needs of each student.

GOAL:
To equip children with basic academic skills and good learning behavior in preparation for inclusion to regular education and/or Bridge Program:
Bridge Program
​
✓ The program is focused on developing learners’ academic and functional achievement to prepare them for school, post-school and independent living.
✓ Bridge Program is designed to meet the special educational needs of students, 7 years old to 18 years old.
​
ESSENTIAL ADAPTIVE SKILLS CLASS
​
​It aims to develop basic concepts and techniques in applying different procedures and strategies related to independent living with oneself, home, and community or outside environment.
​
After completion of the EASC , students with special needs will be expected to be able to:

Develop basic knowledge, skills, and competencies in essential adaptive skills either at home for activities of daily living or outside environment

Identify physical materials needed for activities of daily living
-
Manifest safety and security in applying procedures of essential adaptive skills at home for independent in activities of daily living
-
Demonstrate basic cleaning techniques of oneself, home or outside environment needed for independent living
-
Demonstrate pre-transportation skills needed for daily transportation
LANGUAGE ENRICHMENT CLASS
It is designed for children and adolescents with special needs. The program specifically aims to enhance the child’s functional language through provision of activities that promote both expressive and receptive language.
LEC activities cover areas such as vocabulary development, oral language, reading and listening comprehension, writing and love for reading.
LEC aims to help learners to:

Express their needs, interests, challenges using functional language;

Label things that they see, smell, hear, taste or touch;

Engage in conversations;
-
Respond to instructions and questions;
-
Expand their vocabulary;
-
Note important details;
-
Establish reasoning skills
VALUES, ATTITUDE, AND HABITS CLASS
It intends to equip students with values, attitudes, and behavior necessary in order to reach an exit level to Post-Secondary Transition and the Mainstream.

VAHC focuses on improving various basic skills and work habits needed in performing school-related and home-related activities.
​
VAHC provides training for students to:

Show respect for others;
-
Take responsibility for their actions;

Create positive relationships with their peers;
-
Improve interpersonal skills (i.e. taking turns)

Develop problem-solving skills (i.e. making decisions or asking for help)

Exhibit conflict resolution skills (i.e. coping with peer pressure or losing a game).
PRACTICAL MATH CLASS
PMC covers essential math concepts and how they are applied on the real life situation. Students will learn about the many practical applications of math in everyday life.

PMC promotes functional skills like weighing, measuring, use of money and arranging in numerical order and how these skills are utilized across contexts.
​
